Learn Micro:bit Electronics/Coding Saturday, August 7 2pm -5pm Intrigued by the buzz of electronics and the wizardry of computer programming? In this workshop you’ll have a great time learning to use the mini-computer called the ‘BBC Micro:Bit’! – a tiny programmable microprocessor that can control a variety of sensors and devices. We will learn to make a variety of projects, including a game of rock, paper, scissors you can play against the device or a friend! ¿Intrigado por el zumbido de la electrónica y la magia de la programación informática? This year Mixxer is dedicated to offering Equitable Access to STEAM Experiences for students. Put simply, the term “Equitable Access” refers to the notion that every student should have the same opportunity as any other student for being taught by a great teacher in a great program. Our Equitable Access Initiative provides each student with lunch every day of camp, all supplies needed, and low-cost tuition.
