Laser Cutter: Make a Custom Cell Phone Stand

In this maker experience, you will be introduced to laser cutting & etching by creating a custom-made phone stand.

You will learn to import & create file with YOUR graphic or choose one from a collection of graphics.

Then, get a hands-on walk through of  the steps to send your own pieces to the machine for customization and watch it get made! 

Your phone stand will be approximately 3-in wide and 6-in tall, and can hold a phone with a screensize of 6.8-in.  

Space is limited so that you get lots of one-on-one instruction.

Please ensure your graphic is a black image or lettering on white background jpeg.

Instructor Bio: John Zill has been doing crafts of various styles for 40 years! From leather working, silk screens, wooden toys and toy boxes now to laser etching. John finds the laser works on several types of media and allows for a wide range of applications. He has been doing laser etching for two years and has yet to exhaust the projects that can be done!

Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations.  Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
