Here's a fantastic way to make a one of a kind original piece of art for the Hottest Night in Winston-Salem! 

Have one of our local amazing artists guide you in carving your own design into a sand mold, which will transformed into a piece of iron art at the 2021 Iron Pour. 

No experience necessary! Check out this short video video and see how easy it is to create your own piece of cast iron art!

For this maker experience, consider creating an image, icon, logo, or object that you would like to make into 6" x 6" cast iron art and bring a sketch or print out of it with you. Our artist instructor can help you find something if you need help. We'll also help you properly transfer your personal design into a scratch mold. Scratch block molds are 6" x 6" in size.

Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations.  Mixxer may cancel the workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if the minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to a future workshop date.
