In this holiday-themed maker experience, you will take old garments and fabric to sew your own Christmas stocking, ready to stuff with gifts! You can add decorative flare and even put a bell (or two) on it! Makers of any level will learn to sew to create something festive and fun. This maker experience is great to do with families and friends.
Fabric, accessories, sewing machines, materials and holiday treats will be provided.
*Makers under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

INSTRUCTORS BIO:
Jenna is the CEO of Jenna Sais Quoi, LLC and will be launching a buttondown shirt business, JSQ Designs, during summer 2022 in WInston-Salem. Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jenna Anderson has pursued her passion for costume construction and design all over the United States. From NYC, to Chicago, to WInston-Salem, she is passionate about the future of the creative industry. Jenna is a senior at UNC School of the Arts, with a major in Costume Technology and a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship.
MIXXER's own June Jones has been sharing her expertise and knowledge to members and offering a friendly hand in all their sewing projects. June has been sewing for as long as she can remember. Having had an established career as an electronics technician and running a business focused on sewing machine repairs, June is skillful assessing your sewing machine and give you guidance in all your sewing designs and projects!
Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations. Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
