In this maker experience, you will make a plant propagating stand, a decorative piece to grow your house plants. You will learn to use the tools in the wood shop, including the miter saw.
Your instructor will guide you to design, cut and assemble the woodgrain in a waterfall style so that it looks like one single piece of wood - a cool effect! The other leg will be metal.
You will drill holes into your stand to fit the glass tubes, and use a propane torch to scrunch and shape the tubes so they won't fall through the holes!
All materials and tools provided! Great maker experience of all making levels. Make your own unique decor for your home or give as a gift to friend or loved one!
