Here at mixxer we understand that a lot of skills of the trades are gatekept away from women. We want to facilitate a new norm with this introductory woodworking class for all women to have access to the skills and tools they need to create. If you're a beginner, or just looking for a refresher course, join us on the second Wednesday of the month.
In this session we'll take a piece of rough lumber and refine it using many of the tools in MIXXER's Wood Studio.
Beginners Welcome!
IMPORTANT: Be sure to wear and boots or close toed shoes. We'll provide the rest of the safety gear you'll need.
Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations. Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
Makers under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Please email workshops@wsmixxer.org.
