Learn how to take product photography and show off your work with just your smartphone. You don’t need fancy equipment to get your pieces looking great, just a little experience and know-how.
You’ll learn smart phone camera basics, lighting and product set up, and basic image editing. Feel free to bring a piece you’d like to photograph (1 cubic foot or smaller) or use one of our provided props for practice. You’ll be taking home an image set with a white background (ready to post and share) as well as the knowledge of how to create your own set up and continue to photograph at Mixxer or at home.
Please be sure to bring your smartphone, all other materials are included. Any mid-grade or higher smartphone can be used - you don’t need the latest and greatest to get amazing results. It’s recommended that the camera have 12 megapixels or more. Common phones with this include: Apple iPhone 8 or newer, Samsung Galaxy S8 or newer, Google Pixel 2 or newer. We’ll go over what this means together. Beginners encouraged. Class lengths may vary depending on class size.

Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations. Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
