Do you like the texture of natural wood? Do you like playing with rocks? Well have I got the scrap project for you! In this class we'll be using belt sander and the bandsaw in the wood shop and making use of our supply of scrap, if you have scrap you want to use feel free to bring it. No experience necessary. by the end of the class you'll have a set of your own hand crafted, wooden stacking stones!
Julien is a life long maker, majored in interior design at Forsyth Tech, and took those skills into the furniture industry in Highpoint. Besides furniture, Julien's maker skills include carpentry, cosplay, laser cutting, and bow making (archery). Julien loves sharing their skills with others and chatting about design. Being the youngest of five siblings, communication with all ages has been a huge part of his life. Julien whole heartedly believes that failure is the key to success and everyone is capable of creating anything given enough time and determination.

Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations. Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
