Learn how to make a ghost marionette with glowing eyes. In this class you'll learn how to use conductive thread and special LEDs to make glowing eyes for a ghost marionette. You can use the marionette as decoration or as an easy introduction to puppetry.
Lyssa Troemel is in her third year of studies in Animatronics at UNCSA. Prior to enrolling at UNCSA, she was a props master and puppet builder in the Fort Wayne, IN area. Her work gained the attention of the local band Silbo Gomero and she collaborated with them to produce the award-winning shadow puppet music video “Whale Fall”. She also served on the Board of Directors of Puppeteers of America for two years. She loves to find ways to fuse the arts with technology and continues to do so in her studies.
