Free! Everyone is welcome. In partnership with DENT Creative Reuse Center and Art Laboratory and Piedmont Environmental Alliance, we are hosting PROJECT TREES Open Workshops!
Whether you need the tools to build your tree or you want to collaborate to find the most creative way to put together your tree, join us for one of our open workshops! Bring your recycled, repurposed or scavenged materials to create a recycled Christmas tree you'll want to leave up all year around.
PROJECT TREES is a mass community art installation as part of Christmas for the City on December 16th at the Benton Convention Center. You'll bring your recycled Christmas tree to be installed that day and (hopefully) take it home or to your office to display for the rest of the season! This workshop is for makers of all ages! Makers under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Please email workshops@wsmixxer.org with any questions or comments.
Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations. Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
