In this class, you will be introduced to the CO2 laser cutter! The laser cutter allows you to engrave and cut your designs into wood, acrylic, leather, paper, cardboard and more. This class will guide you on the process of how to take a simple computer design, format it for the laser cutter, and bring it into reality.

Neil Underwood is a long time member of the local maker community having started the first Hackerspace in Winston Salem back in 2011. He is also one of the North American administrators for the RepRap 3d printing research organization, and has a certificate in electrical engineering. These days Neil is a Graduate of Northern Lights Santa Academy and member of the Fraternal order of Real Beard Santas.
