Great for those curious to try 3D printing, this class will show you how to take a 3D model and import it into slicing software, and export to print. You'll learn using Mixxer's Prusa 3D printers stl (file)-to-object workflow and walk away with your very first print!
With small class size, you'll get personalized one on one teaching suited to your level of knowledge!

Neil Underwood is a long time member of the local maker community having started the first Hackerspace in Winston Salem back in 2011. He is also one of the North American administrators for the RepRap 3d printing research organization, and has a certificate in electrical engineering. These days Neil is a Graduate of Northern Lights Santa Academy and member of the Fraternal order of Real Beard Santas.

This class is for makers 13 and older! Makers under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Email: workshops@wsmixxer.org with any questions.
Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations. Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
