During the class students will take an old hardcover book and create a personalized journal for future use. Students will create groupings of blank pages and bind those to the hardcover using a long stitch book binding technique.
Jeremy moved to the Triad area two years ago and dived into various artistic endeavors, nurturing their talents and expanding their creative horizons. He has explored multiple creative forms including wood turning, clay forming and metal work. One year ago, he discovered the world of bookbinding, and it has become a true passion ever since. Jeremy is focused specifically on sewn bindings and continues to hone his skills and artistic expression in this craft.
This workshop is for makers 13 years old and older! Makers should be comfortable using needles and sharp tools.
