In this workshop we'll have fun and break down the steps to making effective monoprints through layering and several types of texturing tools. Monoprints can make terrific, frameable art, collage pieces, or, in our case, pick your favorite one and and adhere to a note card with a matching envelope for some custom stationary!
Your instructor, Elaine Lamson is the Wake Forest School of Divinity's Artist in Residence. Elaine's and is able to bring this workshop to the public for free, through her collaboration with by the Gilead COMPASS InitiativeⓇ Faith Coordinating Center at Wake Forest University’s School of Divinity. She will hold space throughout the workshop for participants to feel safe sharing their thoughts on the stigma of HIV at the intersection of faith and invites participants to come with an open mind and heart to ensure all are welcome.
